+ Writing Support
What We Do
+Writing provides one-on-one tutoring assistance at any stage of the writing process. You can work with our friendly and supportive tutors in person or upload your paper for online feedback. Tutors help you learn revision strategies for developing your academic and professional writing skills.
You can make a 30- or 60-minute appointment for one-on-one help. Online sessions are 60 minutes. You log in with university password to access our scheduler. Although we do not have walk-in tutors, you are always welcome to drop in and schedule time with the next available tutor.
Our tutors assist graduate and undergraduate students and groups working on course papers, scholarship essays, personal statements, and other application documents. More service information is available on our Tutoring Options page.
What to Bring
For one-on-one tutorials, bring your paper and assignment sheet. Upload these same documents for an online tutoring session. Our Before My Visit page will help you make best use of the center.
+Writing is located in 315 Kimpel Hall, and we have a Mullins Library satellite. Your tutor’s location is on the appointment schedule and in your appointment confirmation email.
