Center for Learning and Student Success Tutoring Application

When Will I Hear About My Application?

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a link asking you to select the courses you would like to tutor. Once that form is submitted, your application will be complete. If we have an opening that matches your qualifications, you will be contacted for an interview.

When you hear back from us will depend on when you submitted your application regardless of your tutoring subject area:

FALL APPLICATIONS: If you submit your application during the spring for the following fall, you will be contacted during APRIL/MAY or during the summer about an interview with the Lead Tutor in your discipline(s).

SPRING APPLICATIONS: If you submit your application during the fall for the following spring, you will be contacted after the Thanksgiving Break or over the Christmas/New Year Break about an interview with the Lead tutor in you discipline(s).

APPLICATIONS RECEIVED THE THREE WEEKS BEFORE OR AFTER THE SEMESTER STARTS: If you submit you application late, the schedule may already be filled. In that case, your application will be held for consideration until the following fall or spring semester and you will be contacted using the timelines described above.

LATE START OPPORTUNITIES: Occasionally, we may have a last minute opening in the schedule. In that case, applications in that specific discipline will be reviewed as needed and applicants will be contacted regarding a late start interview.
