What We Do
CLASS+ Writing Support provides one-on-one tutoring assistance at any stage of the writing process. You can work with our writing tutors in person or upload your paper for online feedback. Writing tutors help you learn revision strategies for developing your academic and professional writing skills.
You can make a 30- or 60-minute appointment for face-to-face help. Online and eTutoring appointments are 60 minutes. Log in with your university password to schedule an appointment. We do not have walk-in tutors, but you may drop in the center and schedule with the next available tutor.
Our writing tutors assist graduate and undergraduate students working on course papers, scholarship essays, personal statements, and other application documents. More service information is available on our Tutoring Options page.
What to Bring
For all appointments, tutors need your paper and assignment sheet. Print these documents for face-to-face sessions and upload for eTutoring and Online sessions.
CLASS+ Writing Support is located in Gregson Hall 040. We also have writing tutors in Kimpel 315 and Mullins Library. Your tutor’s location is on the appointment schedule and in your appointment confirmation email.
